Adam Taye at NADA House

May 8 – August 1, 2021

House 404A, 2nd Floor

Colonels Row, Governors Island, NY

Rawson Projects is pleased to present a new series of works by Adam Taye entitled "Manifest Dystopia.”

Within this new series, Taye’s “Bootleg Crypto” explores the abstract absurdity of the “sale” of  Panganak (for 2 axe heads, some beads and some nails) and contemporary speculative non-fiat currency.

A new tapestry work “Invisible Man” explores visual code switching in humans and other animals and the tendency towards the martyr complex.

At NADA House, the artist is also presenting a new video work entitled “Recent History” that examines the subjectivity of recorded history, specifically on the Island.

Adam Taye lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
